Our Purpose "Creating the culture of debate" Debate Club UTP (DCU) was established in March 2005 after being terminated by the management because of internal problems. With the basis of new recruited debaters, Debate Club UTP now is arranging its steps for a better future.
Our mission is to authenticate the third mission of UTP;
“ Our objectives are to generate and build the creativity and innovation over
the technology and education for the sake of society.”
where students share the knowledge and technology with the people around through debate
especially in seeding the understanding of the importance of knowledge and communication skills in the journey through the
global development nowadays. We aim to promote debate to be a culture inside the campus and with that, we are in
the peak of journey, producing high quality graduates, caliber, futuristic and charismatic as the pioneer of development next
new generations.
Over the year, DCU has implemented many strategies and plans to enable students to have quality experiences. Starting
with the recruitment of new members and debaters, DCU pursue the journey to become the most excellent club with the successful
organizing, Debat Piala Rektor 2005. DCU emphasizes students to have better quality in communication with a bunch of debate
classes held throughout the year.
There are three major department contains in this club: Students who are co-operative and supportive are welcomed to join any of the team
even you are not experience debater. We have time to teach and train you to become expert! Who knows, you are the next UTP
